ABOUT THE JOB

Role: SDET – Intern

Reports to: Engineering Manager - SDET

Location: Gurgaon

Responsibilities:

• Basic understanding of competitive programming concepts.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Node.js.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and tools.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Job description:

• Collaborate with software developers and QA engineers to understand software requirements and design appropriate automated scripts.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Node.js or other programming languages.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure testability, maintainability, and efficiency of test scripts.
• Build & maintain CI CD pipelines to be used across the organisation.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize and resolve identified issues.
• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, tooling and methodologies.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing and test automation.
