Product Design Intern

About Aurva :

Aurva is a CyberSecurity start-up started by ex-Facebook colleagues who decided to return from Silicon Valley with a vision to create a tech first company from India. Aurva is a venture backed data security company, backed by Nexus Venture Partners and top Angels from India and US.

Aurva is looking for a design intern to join our team and help us achieve our mission of helping organizations secure their data access. As a product design intern, you will work alongside our engineering team (under the guidance of our Product Designer) to design user interfaces, visual assets, and marketing materials that effectively communicate our product's value and enable our users to easily manage their data access.

We are focused on building a tech first company, with the bay area values deeply ingrained in us i.e. ‘Move Fast, Break Things’ and ‘Build Scalable Systems’.

Responsibilities

• Design user interfaces and user experiences that help our users easily manage their data access across different data sources
• Design visual assets such as icons, illustrations, and animations that help communicate our product's value to our users
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve the design of our product

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, etc.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your design work and problem-solving abilities
• A passion for designing products that enhance user experiences and solve complex problems

This is a paid internship with an opportunity to convert to full time (ideally we would want the person to join us full time post completion of internship). We see the intern playing a key role as we build the company, and would want them to grow into the role.
